Barely-legal barefoot burglar, Colton (Colt) Harris-Moore is gaining notoriety and folk-hero fame for his shoeless, and lawless, antics.
Run-ins with the authorities began back when Colt wasn’t even in his teens. Starting with small break-ins of west coast vacation homes and water craft, he’s recently moved up to plane theft. Having taught himself to fly with the help of simulators and flight manuals, the enterprising, if misdirected, young lad has stolen and crashed some small aircraft in Washington state.
This modern-day outlaw has garnered the support and interest of close to 3,000 facebook fans and continues to successfully evade arrest.
Kind of makes you wonder, if a kid can get into estates, yachts and make off with airplanes and still elude authorities, how tough could it be for anyone, adult or teen alike, to break into our homes? I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely thinking of a security system!
