Fifth Break-In by NY Teenager

Fifth Break-In by NY Teenager

It is common for burglars to strike more than once. Last week, a 17-year-old New Yorker was arrested and charged with a fifth break-in. Timothy Zwiren has been accused of burglarizing a Hartsdale woman’s home, and he will face second-degree burglary charges – a federal felony. Zwiren is currently being held at Greenburgh Police Headquarters.

When authorities found Zwiren, he had jewelry in his possession. Some of these pieces of jewelry were reportedly taken from the Hartsdale woman’s home. Prior to this arrest, Zwiren was out on bail for committing four burglaries in May. He has been asked to appear in court, and will be sentenced for second-degree burglary.

Becoming the victim of a burglary is no picnic. What if Zwiren hadn’t been found by the authorities? This woman would have lost her valuables, and no justice would have been served. With a home security system, you will deter burglars from entering your home – more or less getting away with your belongings. Installing an ADT monitored alarm system is a wise choice in preventing home invasion!

Installing Security Windows Can Make Your House Safer

Installing Security Windows Can Make Your House Safer

I write a lot about windows, primarily addressing strong sash locks and not leaving them open. After all, burglars rely on open windows as their primary point of access into houses.

So, what exactly is a security window? For starters, security windows are made from stronger glass with the additional feature of being harder to see through from the outside. Reinforced frames are also a key component. Wood frames are easy to shatter and splinter, but frames reinforced with steel present serious problems to burglars.

Security windows also come with much stronger locking mechanisms than tradition windows. They're made from case hardened steel and cannot be opened from the outside. Essentially, security windows, when kept locked, and nearly impossible for burglars to get through without shattering the glass.

That's where a monitored ADT home security equipment comes in to play. With the included window sensors, you will instantly be notified if a window is suddenly opened, closed, or shattered. Protect your house by paying particular attention to your windows.

When You're Out Of Town, Don't Take Your Home's Security With You

When You're Out Of Town, Don't Take Your Home's Security With You

With peak travel season approaching, many people will be visiting loved ones or flying off to warmer climates. Burglars are looking for signs of abandoned houses as excited travelers head out of town. As you make vacation plans, make sure your home’s security doesn’t leave with you. Be sure you plan ahead to keep your home protected and pay attention to home security tips to help protect your property when you're away.

One way of doing so is to have someone pick up the mail and any flyers left outside your house. They can also rotate the lights in the house, leaving a different one on each time. If you’re leaving a car behind, park it in the driveway. These things can help your house look like it’s still occupied while you’re away.

Another way to make sure your home stays safe even when you aren’t there is to look into a home security system. Providers like ADT Security can find the deal that best fits your needs. Leave your home in capable hands, and enjoy a stress-free vacation.

Consider a Panic Pendant for your Elderly Loved Ones

Consider a Panic Pendant for your Elderly Loved Ones

Authorities say an 8-year-old boy grabbed control of a pickup and brought it safely to a stop after his grandmother had a seizure while driving on a western Colorado interstate.

The woman suffered a seizure while driving at about 75 mph on Interstate 70 outside Grand Junction on Sunday. Her grandson was in the passenger seat and grabbed the wheel. Her foot slipped off the accelerator, and her grandson kept the pickup in the right-hand lane until it came to a stop.

A seizure or other medical emergency can happen at any time. At home, rely on an ADT monitored home security system including a medical pendant, sometimes called a panic pendant. Through state-of-the-art technology, today's medical home security equipment can even detect when the person wearing the pendant as suddenly fallen, allowing highly trained dispatchers to get local medical assistance on the way immediately.

Do everything you can to protect your family, including your elderly loved ones or others in your home with special needs. An ADT monitored home security burglar and fire alarm system is just the ticket.

Carbon Monoxide: A Silent Killer

Carbon Monoxide: A Silent Killer

When considering home security, it's enough to deal with the things you can see. Open doors and windows, hiding places in your yard, and even smoke from a kitchen fire. However, what do you do about the deadly and toxic things you can't see, like carbon monoxide?

Carbon monoxide – CO – is a deadly gas that you cannot see, smell, or taste. It's the gas emitted from open-flame appliances like gas stoves and furnaces. Without any warning at all, you would never know your house was being overrun by this poison. You would pass out and, if not discovered in time, would die from continued exposure.

Fortunately, you can include carbon monoxide detectors with your monitored ADT home security system. These highly sensitive alarms are designed to detect even the smallest levels of carbon monoxide in your home or apartment, before they reach levels that will render you unconscious. When the alarm sounds you'll immediately be able to clear your house, getting everyone safely to fresh air.

Ensure that you and your family are protected from a wide range of potential safety hazards, including carbon monoxide. A professionally installed and monitored ADT home security system can provide this level of protection to you and your family.

Helping Your Neighbor With Home Security

Helping Your Neighbor With Home Security

The other day my neighbor across the street was out doing a little yard work, so I stopped over to see if I could lend a hand. What I found out was he was preparing to install some exterior security lights and a couple of wireless security cameras.

My first question to him was whether his house had recently be burglarized. I was pretty sure I'd know if it had, but I wanted to make sure. He said not his, but his sister's house across town had been broken into while they were gone for the weekend, and that event caused him to want to take some action in his own yard.

We talked about the various home security measures that can easily be undertaken by homeowners, and I also got to share with him the many things my wife and I had done around our house. I also told him that we rely on ADT to monitor our security system around the clock protection and how that would have definitely helped prevent the burglar at his sister's house.

At the end of the project, my neighbor told me that a monitored burglar alarm system sounded like a solid investment and he was going to make arrangements to have one professionally installed as soon as possible. We decided then and there that the more home in our neighborhood that were professionally protected the safer we'd all be in our little community.

Home Security Tips To Help Keep Your Family Safe From A House Fire

Home Security Tips To Help Keep Your Family Safe From A House Fire

Most house fires start in the kitchen. This should come as no surprise, considering how much time is actually spent in the kitchen, but virtually all of those kitchen fires could have been prevented with just a little bit of knowledge.

Inexperienced cooks cause many kitchen fires because they're unfamiliar with what can happen when grease or oil catches fire. A natural reaction to any fire is to douse it with water. In the case of grease or oil, however, this will cause the fire to spread and you'll be very lucky to contain it. When grease catches fire, the first thing you need to do is turn off the heat source and then immediately cover the pan with a lid. Salt or baking soda are the only two things you should ever toss on a grease fire.

Inattentive cooks cause many fires as well, but for different reasons. Getting flammable materials too close to an open flame or heat source can spell disaster. Be very mindful of your apron, towels, hot pads, and all paper products. One moment of distraction and your dish towel can be on fire.

Make certain that your monitored ADT home security alarm system is complete with smoke detectors. At least one should be placed in every kitchen, near stoves but away from open windows, fans, and air conditioning units.

Safety First When Returning Home

Safety First When Returning Home

When I lived in Germany, I discovered that men actually don't hold the doors for women. This has nothing to do with the lack of chivalry. In fact, it's quite the opposite.

German men, when entering a building, will walk ahead of their wife and children in case danger lurks on the other side of the doorway. It's a carryover from earlier days, but it's something I never forgot and the practice is now part of our home security routine.

When we return late at night, I have made it a practice to go ahead of my wife and young son and open our house to make certain I'm not bringing them into a dangerous situation. For us, this feels like the right thing to do, so we do it. This also gives my wife time to gather up our son and everything we bring along for his comfort. By the time I've make a check of the house, she's ready for me to come back outside to help getting us all back in, safe and sound.

We rely on our monitored ADT alarm system to protect our house and our belongings, and have chosen to be aware of any other security measures to bolster the effectiveness of our home security system. Remember, doing something is better than doing nothing when it comes to home security.

Safety Tips That Could Save Your Life

Safety Tips That Could Save Your Life

There are some common sense crime-prevention steps that could easily save your life. First and foremost is to lock all doors at all times. First floor windows should also be secured whenever possible.

Need a spare key? Never ever leave it outside, especially under a doormat. That is the first place an intruder will look. Other people ‘hide’ a house key in a plastic rock or under a statue. These are also such common spots to store a spare key that a criminal could find it in seconds. It’s not safe. A trustworthy neighbor might be willing to hold onto a spare key for you.

Close window shades when it’s dark. Don’t forget the kitchen; many homes leave this window uncovered and make it easy for a potential intruder to look in and see what’s going on and who’s home. Obstruct their view; they’re more likely to leave your property if they can’t look in and see an opportunity for an attack or robbery. Have a home security system in place, complete with alarms and security monitors, to help alert you and authorities if anyone ever does break into your house, whether or not you are inside at the time.

Safely Home Alone |Protecting Our Kids When We Can't Be With Them

Safely Home Alone |Protecting Our Kids When We Can't Be With Them

Do your kids have to be home alone? Unfortunately, many households today have parents that must remain at work for several hours after the kids get home from school.

So how can we keep our kids safe and secure in the house until family arrives to help care for them? First of all, keep a list of phone numbers attached on the wall by the phone, or on the fridge (fastened securely in any reliable location) so the kids know who and where to call if any emergency does arise.

Make sure doors and windows are kept locked. Kids should know not to open the door, ever, to anyone, especially not a stranger. Kids need to know about stranger danger. Sometimes grownups do make up stories to try and get in. It’s a sad fact, but adults lie to get what they want. Maintaining a child’s innocence isn’t a good idea if it’s at the expense of their safety.

Kids should have a code word or secret knock, so if emergencies come up and an adult’s entry becomes mandatory, your child can feel reasonably sure that the adult can be trusted. Our mom had a special phone ring; two rings, hang up. Wait 10 seconds, call back. Then we knew it was her and it was okay to answer the phone. Having a security monitor, alarm and motion sensors at home are also good ways to keep little ones secure when you can’t be with them.

With a reliable home security system and an easy family safety plan, you can help protect your kids from danger even when you can’t be with them.

No Boundaries - Would-be Crook In South Carolina Uses Fishing Pole To No Avail

No Boundaries - Would-be Crook In South Carolina Uses Fishing Pole To No Avail

South Carolina police say a fishing crook never had a chance to land the big one. The would-be robber tried to steal money bags from a bank's night deposit drop box using fishing line and hooks. Employees at a First Citizen's Bank in Orangeburg discovered a fishing hook in one of the bags, and at least two hooks in the box. One hook still had a small piece of fishing line attached.

The crook's task was impossible because the night deposit boxes are set up with trap doors so that once bags are dropped in, they can't be taken out the same way. Fortunately, the bank said it has security footage of the would-be angler.

This story goes to show that burglars will simply stop at nothing to get what they want. They’ll try any means if they think they won’t get caught. That’s where ADT home security can make all the difference. Don’t wait another day. There’s someone out there who would really like your stuff.

False Identity - Know The Person At Your Front Door Before You Open It

False Identity - Know The Person At Your Front Door Before You Open It

Authorities say a Virginia woman posed as an FBI agent and pulled a fast one on her neighbors by talking them into taking jobs as her assistants. Twenty-nine-year-old Brenna Reilly of Arlington, Virginia was indicted by a federal grand jury in Alexandria on charges of impersonating an FBI agent.

Reilly told neighbors in her apartment complex that she was the FBI's director of forensics, and based solely on her word they went to work for her. They even divulged personal information such as their social security numbers on phony job applications.

One of the first rules of home security is to never answer your door until you’re certain of the identity of the other person. One of the biggest scams against homeowners is for burglars to pose as law enforcement or other people of authority because of the almost instant acceptance of their role as a such.

A professionally installed ADT monitored security system is your first line of defense against burglars and burglary attempts. Don’t take any unnecessary risks, and never open the door to anyone with whom you’re not personally familiar.

Home Security Basics - Some Basic Information About Home Security

Home Security Basics - Some Basic Information About Home Security

All good home security alarm systems include just a handful of basic equipment. If you’ve felt overwhelmed because you didn’t know where to start, then you’ve come to the right place.

Home security alarm systems start with a control panel. This is where you arm and disarm your home security alarm system. The control panel is also the central point of each system, controlling and monitoring each additional security component.

Smoke detectors should be present and operational in every home. Check the batteries each month to ensure peak performance. Be sure to install them high on walls or on ceilings, and away from any ventilation like open windows, ceiling fans, and air conditioners.

Motion detectors are so sophisticated today that they can actually tell the difference between your family pet and an intruder. No home security alarm system should be without them.

Door and window sensors will provide instant notification of a security breach, and should be reinforced with strong sash locks for your windows and deadbolt locks for all of your doors.

Contact YourLocalSecurity.com today and see how you can make your house safer with an ADT monitored security system. Ask about additional home security features like carbon monoxide detectors, freeze and flood alarms, and wireless security cameras.

Maximizing Security - Is Your Home Security Up To The Task?

Maximizing Security - Is Your Home Security Up To The Task?

Is your home security plan truly protecting your family? This is an important question, and if you hesitated or couldn’t emphatically answer yes, then read on and let’s get you and your home security system heading in the right direction.

In order to keep burglars out of your house, you have to place obstacles in their way. The kinds of obstacles we’re talking about are the security kind. Case hardened deadbolt locks for all exterior doors; strong sash locks for windows; exterior lighting; motion detectors.

Here are some additional security “obstacles” you can put in the way of a potential burglar:

Keep bushes and shrubs trimmed and away from doorways.

Plant thorny shrubs or rose bushes beneath windows.

Keep tree branches trimmed back from windows and the roof.

Don’t take chances with your family’s safety when they are at home. Deploying the security measures mentioned above, including a professionally installed and monitored ADT home security burglar alarm system, will ensure that you have optimal security protection at home.

Know Your Rights Regarding Home Protection

Know Your Rights Regarding Home Protection

Sometimes home security tips include advice about setting traps in your home. It's not hard to imagine stopping an intruder by having various tripwires that might do anything from delivering an electric shock to (for those who have watched a few too many horror films) opening a cage that releases deadly snakes. I've even heard of a few strange folks setting a hidden bear trap.

While most of us don't often entertain such violent thoughts, if someone was to break into our homes, a feeling of anger and retribution could likely flare up. There's something satisfying about imagining the intruder getting his just deserts.

But be aware that setting traps that can kill or seriously injure a burglar is illegal. Believe it or not, this kind of homemade home security equipment is not within a homeowner's rights. You could actually find the law turned back on you.

Instead, go the legal route. Get a home security review and compare security companies. Legal equipment is much safer, and you wouldn't want to step in that bear trap while sleepwalking.

Each year, more than one billion travelers stay in American hotels. Most people don’t experience problems while vacationing, but some fall victim to burglary, theft and even assault. Make Your Home A Burglar's Mission Impossible

Make Your Home A Burglar's Mission Impossible

Peter Graves, the rugged star of TV’s Mission: Impossible, died Sunday afternoon at age 83. He was found in front of his Pacific Palisades, California home, dead from apparent natural causes.

Graves, who generally played the straight-shooting hero, starred in more than 70 television shows and feature films in his career and won a Golden Globe in 1971 for his role as James Phelps, leader of the elite spy organization, Impossible Missions Force.

As James Phelps he trained the best spies in the world to be able to break in, undetected, to virtually any house or building in the world, steal what they needed per their mission objective, and leave equally undetected.

In real life there are professional burglars out there who are equally as good at getting in and out of houses without being detected, and their primary targets are homes without security systems. Choose to protect your home with an ADT monitored home security system, letting the bad guys know that attempting to rob your house truly is an impossible mission.

Contact YourLocalSecurity.com today and see how you can protect your home against professional burglars.

Security Tips - Tips For School-Age Kids At Home Alone

Security Tips - Tips For School-Age Kids At Home Alone

More and more families have both parents working full time. This means that some children come home to an empty house after school. Here are some home security tips you can go over with your children to make that less stressful for you as a parent, and for them as a child home alone.

Make sure that every door and window is locked with strong locks. This means sash locks for your windows, and case-hardened steel deadbolt locks for all of your exterior doors. Teach your children to double check them when they get home each day.

Your children must know who to call if they need help, in case either parent cannot be reached or cannot get to them soon enough, a backup should be in place. A trusted neighbor or family member close by is always a good choice

Have rules about appliances like toasters, ovens, blenders, television, and other equipment in your home. If you are going to allow your children to use certain items, make sure they can show proficiency and safety while doing so.

Help protect your home with an ADT monitored home security system. Your children can disarm the system when they get home, and then rearm it once inside. Having your home professionally monitored by highly trained emergency dispatch personnel will give you peace of mind during the hours your children are home alone.

Alarm Helps Authorities Find Suspect

Late last week, Bender’s Corner Store was broken into by an unnamed Elkhart man. Thanks to the store’s security alarm, local authorities were quickly alerted to the crime in progress. An eye witness account provided a detailed description of the man, and the police were able to find the 27-year-old just minutes later. The suspect was found with more than $4,600 in stolen cash and cigarettes. When police tried to arrest the suspect, he ditched his bicycle and attempted to escape. The man was subsequently tasered, and remains in custody with a $10K bond for resisting arrest charges and felony burglary. The first court date has been scheduled for July 13th.

Thanks to this store’s use of a security system, local authorities were quickly notified to the potential crime. ADT Security offers business solutions, ensuring that even commercial properties get 24-hour monitoring. The economy is in a weak state – don’t let your business fall victim to theft.

Be Aware Of Crime To Enhance Personal Safety At Home, Work and Play

How Can We Protect Our Kids? Florida Boy Set On Fire

How Can We Protect Our Kids? Florida Boy Set On Fire

Anyone with kids, as well as those without, will likely cringe when they hear this horrible report. A young teen in Florida, 15 year old Michael Brewer, was recently set on fire at the apartment complex where he lived with his family. Five teen classmates committed the monstrous crime in retribution over an unpaid $40 debt, allegedly owed to one of the kids for a video game.

We all seek to protect our families as best we can. In the terrible Deerpark Beach attack, Michael Brewer was restrained, doused in alcohol and intentionally set on fire. Michael jumped quickly into a pool. Thought the water did not put out the flames, a neighbor ran over with a fire extinguisher and aided in putting out the remaining fire.

Personal alarms, surveillance cameras and security alarms can all elicit faster responses from authorities when victims do need assistance, or alert us when criminals break onto property where they don’t belong.

I’m sure most of us cannot imagine such a violent, senseless attack on any one of our family members, and hopefully it’s something we’ll never have to deal with. Unfortunately, it seems vicious people are everyone and their inexplicable actions can’t be predicted. Investing in a security system is something that could lend a protective element for your family and home, and possibly save someone’s life.

Personal Safety Is Very Important For Your Children

Personal Safety Is Very Important For Your Children

Teaching your children about home security and personal safety comes with its own set of challenges. Here are some considerations for helping your children be as safe as they can.

Answering the home phone may seem like a relatively harmless event, but what if the person is a burglar and is asking if mommy and daddy are home? Smaller children can be honest to a fault, and this includes toward strangers. Waiting until your children are a bit older is a good call when it comes to answering the home phone. If no adults are home, teach your children to tell the caller that they're busy at the moment and to take a message.

Using parental controls over your children's internet access is a very good idea. Again, children are very trusting and unfortunately there are people in the world willing to exploit and take advantage of that trust.

Teaching your children how to arm and disarm your monitored ADT home security alarm system as soon as they're able to comprehend what they're doing is a great idea. Your children need to understand at an early age that you take home security seriously, and the system is to be armed as often as possible.

Help your children with their personal safety, and keep them as safe as possible at home with a professionally installed and ADT monitored home security system.

Stolen Gown - Bridesmaid's Dress Stolen Hours Before Wedding Ceremony

Stolen Gown - Bridesmaid's Dress Stolen Hours Before Wedding Ceremony

Just hours before a wedding was to take place in Pike Creek, Delaware, someone ran off with the bridesmaid's dress. The bride and one of her bridesmaids were in a salon getting ready for the wedding at the time of the burglary. When they got back to their car, they discovered that someone had stolen the custom pink dress the bridesmaid was supposed to wear during the ceremony.

It’s understandable that the bridesmaid would have the dress with her, stored in her car. However, this is just another cautionary tale about the importance of protecting your personal belongings. The safest place for your prized possessions is locked securely inside a home with an ADT monitored home security system. Had the bridesmaid been able to keep her dress inside a home with a professionally installed alarm system, the wedding would have gone off without a hitch and the bride wouldn't have had to break into hysterics!

Don’t let burglars take what you’ve worked so hard to earn. Contact us today to discover how an ADT monitored home security system can help keep you, your family, and your home safe and secure, whether you’re there or not.

Spare Keys - Home Safety Tips

Spare Keys - Home Safety Tips

Ever have one of those days where nearly everything goes wrong, and then the last thing you need to go wrong at the end of a long day also goes wrong? Had one of those days just last week, and it involved my house key, and it made me think about an important home safety tips.

I had car trouble quite a ways from home, which resulted in my car needing to be towed and me calling a family member for a ride home. It was a long, tiring day and I was in no mood for what happened next. I'd left all my keys with the mechanic, house key included.

I was locked out of my own house, a place I very badly needed to be inside, and was ready to actually break a small window to get inside. As I stood there contemplating my move, I remembered that some months back I'd taken a spare house key to a neighbor I'd known for many years. I chose them, an older couple, because they seemed to always be home, which they were.

It was a valuable home security lesson that day, and one I'll never forget. I knew not to keep a house key under a doormat, but I still wanted one easily accessible. It really paid off for me that day. My house is protected by ADT alarm monitoring, but not hiding a key anywhere on my property is me doing my part to keep my house and family even more secure.

Home Security in Action

Home Security in Action

Imagine watching a live home security video on your PDA and actually seeing a burglar in your home. When you bought your home security camera and the rest of the alarm monitoring system, you weren't sure you'd ever need it. But now your home security camera has caught someone, and your body is suddenly full of adrenaline!

Even though you're miles away from home, your heart is pounding with a strange combination of dread and excitement. Before you can call the authorities, the alarm monitoring company calls you, letting you know that they've already done it.

You switch cameras and actually see the police arrive at your home. You see them enter the front door whose lock the burglar somehow broke. When you switch back to the other camera, you see the burglar being apprehended. Here is alarm monitoring in action. You breathe a huge sigh of relief ...

Don't Overdress Your Home, Create A Conservative Landscape

Don't Overdress Your Home, Create A Conservative Landscape

Giving your home an attractive facelift is not the best idea if the rest of your neighbors are not in the habit of keeping up such appearances, too. By making your home look noticeably nicer that the other houses in your area, you’re essentially advertising the fact that you’re somewhat well-to-do.

If all the other homes on your street look a little run down and yards are unkempt, it is in your best interests to follow their lead and not go overboard with fancy landscaping, fresh siding or costly accessories on the property. Criminals are as impressed as the next person by any show of prosperity.

For an added touch of security, consider placing a sticker in your windows or sign in the yard advertising that you have an alarm system in place (even if you really do not). Of course, real safety and peace of mind are authentic when you do set up security systems with a reliable alarm company like yourlocalsecurity.com.

Deadbolt Locks | Deadbolt Locks Are Your First Line Of Defense In Home Security

Deadbolt Locks | Deadbolt Locks Are Your First Line Of Defense In Home Security

It may seem obvious that the front door to your home is the first choice for entry by a burglar. Many people don’t even lock their front doors, and when they do it’s generally with an inferior locking mechanism like the one that comes standard with your doorknob. Equipment from ADT Security can help you keep your home as secure as possible.

Burglars are looking for easy targets, and one thing you can do that will throw up a security warning flag to any burglar casing your house is the obvious use of quality deadbolt locks on every door leading to and from your house. A high quality deadbolt lock made from case hardened steel and extending into your doorframe at least an inch and a half is a very strong security measure, and any burglar knows they simply won’t get through it easily enough, or quietly enough to make it worth their while.

Your second line of defense should always be a home security burglar alarm system from ADT Security. Paired with deadbolt locks and professionally monitored by the industry’s best emergency response personnel, burglars won’t stand a chance at your house!

Protection For And From Your Home

Protection For And From Your Home

People turn to home security to protect themselves from what’s outside. However, some people don’t realize they also need protection from what’s inside their homes. Many fatal accidents occur in the home. Two of the leading causes are fire and poisoning.

Carbon monoxide is the top cause of poisoning deaths in the U.S. Since you can’t smell or see it, this could kill you before you know it’s there. The only way to ensure you’re aware when dangerous levels are present is to install detectors. Many home security companies offer this feature. They professionally install carbon monoxide detectors as well as smoke and heat sensors and other equipment.

Many systems would not only detect danger, but also give you direct contact with local police and fire officials. Detecting danger is just another benefit of home security systems. Hate Crimes Are On The Rise| Best Ways To Add Protection To Your Home

U.S. crime statistics show that hate crimes are on the rise. The definition of what a hate crime actually is seems to be somewhat ambiguous. Generally though, hate crimes are any violent acts meted out against a person, or persons, who act, speak and behave differently from those who feel motivated to persecute them.

Hate crimes are most typically taken out on people who are not heterosexual. Often hate crimes can also be racially motivated. Religion can be another factor that comes into play in these circumstances.

If you feel at risk, a few reasonable pieces of home security alarm equipment can help protect you (and can also help track down the offenders if a crime does occur). A monitoring service from a reliable home security company like ADT Security can help keep a watchful eye on you and your family.

With wireless alarms and other reliable equipment, it’s no wonder that ADT security has been the most popular security provider in the U.S. for over 100 years! A security camera can help alert you to trespassers, and also provide extremely helpful evidence if a crime does take place.
